U. S. Accoutrement Plate
| The Cartridge box plate below was dug near Richmond, Virginia in the winter of 1995-1996. It is apparently a very early manufacture. The wire making up the fastening eyes is brass and the eyes are quit large,(1). One type of Ohio cartridge box plate,(2), also has brass wire and large eyes.
