| The item
above seems to have been cut from a buckle of some type. It was found in a camp near Great
Bridge, Virginia. I have no idea what it may have been used for as it has no attachment
hook or pin on the back. |

| This piece of art work
was found near Richmond, Virginia. The artist carved a face in a flattened minie ball. |

This soldier had a lot
to do. He managed to find enough time to cut hearts, clovers, and stars out of these 1852,
1853, and 1854 Half Dimes.
These coins were found in a Federal winter camp along the Halifax Road near Petersburg,
Virginia. |
